I like to tell a few close friends and relatives that I actually beat the Iron Skeik.................Too bad it was not a WWF match. It was at a dive bar back in 1987 (I think)in WindsorLocks,CT after a WWF match at the Hartford Civic Center. He came in with Greg Valentine, and Lou Albano.I bought a picture of beer an proceeded to take on the Iron Sheik...only this time it was my game....The bar room bowling game.I gave him a brief overview of the game, more than he would of given me of wrestling moves. Then by the time we reached the beer frame I had his ass well beaten. We shook hands after the match and he congratulated me,and we went back to drinking our beers with Greg and Lou.He was a real down to earth guy.Sheik if you are ever in CT look me up I'll take you on again...over a few beers and the bar room bowling game again,or just a few wrestling moves.
Thanks Wayne
